Harrison County Emergency Services District No. 4 proudly protects 3500+ people living in an area of 150 square miles. We operate out of three stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.
We are an all volunteer department dedicated to serving our neighbors in their time of need. Our fire district was established in 1982. We cover the southern-most portion of Harrison County with two major North/South highways (US Hwy 59 & US Hwy 43) and East/West highway (IH 20) running through our fire district coverage area. We have three fire stations covering the communities of Gill, Grange Hall and Cave Springs. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 7pm at our main station on FM Rd 2983. We train at every meeting and occassionally on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. Anyone dedicated to serving others and committed to training are urged to join a volunteer fire department in your area. Volunteers are always needed where ever you go. All are welcome to visit with us. Our motto is Volunteers Helping Our Neighbors
