The Zion Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department is located in southwestern Louisa County, Virginia, and serves one of the fastest growing regions in the state. (The U.S. Census Bureau recently ranked Louisa as the 73rd-fastest growing county in the nation.) With expanding subdivisions, multi-story commerical buildings and about 13 miles of I-64, our busy department responds to both fire and ems calls. Through the years, our calls have grown from only 95 in 1993 to over 500 calls per year. The Zion Crossroads Fire Department is supported each year by Louisa County with an operating budget, and receives great support each year in donations from the community and the local businesses.
