Buies Creek Fire Rescue proudly protects 9000 people living in an area of 27 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status.
Buies Creek Fire Department was formed in 1956 to provide fire protection. In 1991, we began providing first responder services and in 1998 have grown to provide EMS transport at the EMT-D level. Buies Creek Fire Rescue is proud to offer a Class 5 rating. Buies Creek Fire Rescue serves a diverse area that includes Campbell University, the Harnett County Airport, the Cape Fear River, numerous churches, farms, and a growing residential base. Buies Creek is located in Harnett County about halfway between Raleigh and Fayetteville off of Hwy 421. It is the goal of Buies Creek Fire Rescue to continue to adapt and train to provide the best possible service to the area we serve.
