Guilford Fire & Rescue

The Guilford Fire & Rescue Department was organized in 1949. We provide fire and emergency medical services to the town of Guilford, Vermont, a southern suburb of Brattleboro, VT with a population of approximatlry 3,000. In 2007, we responded to 241 incidents. Our staffing of 26 active members breaks down into: 1 Full Time Chief 1 Volunteer Assistant Chief 2 Volunteer Captains 1 Volunteer Safety Officer 1 Volunteer Fire Warden 14 Volunteer Firegighters/First Responders or EMT's 6 Volunteer Junior Firefighters/ First Responders
