Grand Bay-Westfield Fire/Rescue

The Grand Bay-Westfield Fire/Rescue Department is a Volunteer Department supported by 3 permanent full time members, 1 Chief, 1 Training Officer and 1 Equipment Officer. The volunteer ranks vary from 35 - 40 members. The Department was formed in 1998 when the Town of Grand Bay and the Village of Westfield were amalgamated. The Department protects the town as well as the Local Service District of Westfield West, serving a total population of approximately 7500 people. The Department runs approximately 200 calls per year.
