Walhonding Valley Fire Department

Walhonding Valley Fire District proudly protects 11000 people living in an area of 228 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status.

The Walhonding Valley Fire District currently has 12 first responders, 6 EMT's, 2 paramedic, 10 SCUBA divers, a rope team, a boat rescue team and a ladies auxiliary with 15 members. We cover 8 townships and 2 villages. The largest in the state of Ohio.
