We operate out of 2 stations, with 2 pumpers, 2 tankers, and 2 brush vehicles, and 1 support vehicle. We are tax-funded by portions of both Marion and Ralls counties. We are an all volunteer dept. with 18 volunteers, of which 9 firefighters are First Responder certified, 4 firefighters are certified EMT's, 3 firefighters Paramedic certified, 2 firefighters are certified as Haz-Mat Technician, 1 firefighter is State Instructor certified, and 2 firefighters are State Investigator certified. Several of the firefighters attend the University of Missouri Fire & Rescue Training Institute, as well as several hours of in-house training per month, so that we may stay on the cutting edge of fire protection and prevention, plus emergency medical services.
