Smith Grove Fire Department The idea of establishing the Smith Grove Fire Dept. was generated in the summer of 1973 by Johnny Allen. In October 1973,the Community Center Board consisting of Glenn Howard, Richard Hicks, David Pardue and others discussed the idea.
