Ballard Volunteer Fire & Rescue

Ballard Volunteer Fire & Rescue proudly protects 2300-2500 people living in an area of 7 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.

Our department was formed in 1988 and our first truck a 1962 International pumper which was housed at a members garage until the building was started and finished. Our facility was built by the members and the public almost entirely from donations. We've come a long way since then. With the help of our outstanding members past & present and our wonderful public support. We hope to continue to better serve our community and strive to better our deparment as the years pass.
