Union Fire Company No. 1

Union Fire Company No. 1 is located in Oxford, Pennsylvania. This area is situated in the Southwestern corner of Chester County, one of the fastest growing counties in Pennsylvania. Company operations include providing Fire, Rescue, and EMS to the surrounding communities. Operations are provided by volunteers with the exception of Career EMT's for daytime hours Monday thru Friday. The company operates with three Engines, a 105' Aerial Ladder, a Rescue/Pumper, a 6000 gallon Tanker, two Brush pieces, a Utility Vehicle, a Command Vehicle, and three BLS equipped Ambulances. All services are not only offered to our first due district, but are available for mutual aid responses in the surrounding counties as well as Maryland and Delaware. The Union Fire Company No. 1 serves an area of approximately 92 square miles, consisting of residential, agriculture, and light industry areas.
