Waseca Volunteer Fire Department

Waseca Fire Department proudly protects 14000 people living in an area of 144 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status.

The Waseca Fire Department is a small combination fire department that provides fire,rescue, and medical assist services to the city of Waseca and rural townships surronding the city. Approximately 24 training drills are conducted each year, on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings starting at 7:00pm. The department responds to approximately 525 calls per year. Full-time staff perform fire safety education, fire code enforcement, maintence, fire command, pump operation and training duties.
