Township of Kalamazoo Fire Department proudly protects 23000 people living in an area of 12.5 square miles. We operate out of 4 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid on call status.
It is the mission of the Township of Kalamazoo Fire Department to serve our Community by safely responding to reported emergencies in it's response area, to provide aid to surrounding Communities in accordance with established policy, to limit the loss of life and property to the best of our ability, through Education and available Resources.
