IDAN BRAUN is a crew commander and fire instructor at the Israeli Fire & Rescue Authority – Coast Region. He is a 12-year veteran of the fire services, and has a master’s degree in emergency management. His specialty during his studies was high-rise. Braun has worked with firefighters in the United States and worldwide to implement and teach firefighting tactics, such as fire behavior and ventilation. He is also a member of the national High Rise Firefighting Committee & Firefighters PPE National Committee. As part of his assignments, he is trained as a marine firefighter.
