Thomas D. Kuglin Jr. is a 16-year professional in fire and emergency services. He currently serves as the university manager for the Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE) and is also a credentialed Chief Fire Officer (CFO) and Chief Training Officer (CTO) from the CPSE. Kuglin has served through the rank of battalion chief in several fire service organizations that vary in size and complexity. He is a board member for the Industrial Fire & Safety Section of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), a published author, a speaker and a John Maxwell Team member.
