Fire facility design is a primary focus of Hooker’s architectural career, and he has worked on 35-plus facilities over his 25 years of experience. He is a published author and speaker on fire facility design. Hooker has won multiple awards for his fire station projects, most recently the Station Style 2019 Gold award for Central Pierce Fire and Rescue Station 60.
