Becki Rowan-White is battalion chief for the Chanhassen, MN, Fire Department. She has served 20 years in the fire service in every level, from firefighter to chief officer, including time as a statewide Fire and Life Safety Educator. Rowan-White has a master's degree in education and an Executive Fire Officer designation from the National Fire Academy. Her business, Elevate Learning Consulting, specializes in research, development and delivery of educational resources, mostly in public safety. Rowan-White also serves as an advisory board member for the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education and on UL’s Fire Safety Research Institute Public Fire Safety Education Advisory Committee (PAC).
