    Victorian Simmons works for the Greensboro, NC, Fire Department as the community engagement specialist and has an extensive background in marketing and communications, including strategic communications, writing, photography and social media. She was recognized multiple times by her community for using creative strategies to effectively reach specific audiences for the department. Simmons has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Keuka College and a master’s degree in business management from Elmira College and is working on her Ph.D. in strategic communications from Liberty University. Her photography was featured in Firehouse Magazine. Simmons will be a featured speaker at the 2024 NFPA Conference & Expo and the North Carolina Fire and Life Safety Educator Conference.
