This month on Fire Marshal's Corner, co-hosts Ed Comeau and Mike Love look at the international fire scene.

With the recent tragedy in Perm, Russia, that killed 124 people in a nightclub fire, they talk with Mark Ghilarducci, vice president for James Lee Witt Associates for some insight into the Russian fire service. Mark recently did a trip to Russia and met with a number of fire service professionals and toured several of their cities.

Mike Love talks about his recent trip to Vietnam as part of a team for the National Institute of Standards and Technology to discuss the use and enforcement of codes and standards. The podcast wraps up with Chapel Hill Fire Chief Dan Jones discussing his trip to Botswana as part of the State Partnerships for Peace program that is run be each of the United States National Guard units.
