Ford F-450 Utility Body
This Technical Rescue Support Unit, assigned as a second piece to the
District of Columbia Fire Department's Rescue Company 3, was built on a Ford
F-450 chassis and is powered by a Ford Powerstroke Diesel engine. It is one
of three recently assigned to each of the Department's three Rescue
Companies. These units respond with the Rescue Companies as a second piece
on high angle rescues, confined space incidents, hazardous materials
incidents, water rescues and structural collapse incidents.
