The City of Leawood Kansas Fire Department has taken delivery of a new Pierce 100' rear mounted platform.

The Pierce Dash chassis provides a seating capacity of eight. The platform is powered by a Cummins ISM diesel rated at 500 horsepower. The unit has a 2,000 gpm Waterous single stage pump with a 300 gallon tank capacity.

It has a hose bed capacity of 1,000 feet of 5" supply hose,carries 135' of ground ladders, and has a Harrison 10kw hydraulic generator. The unit is also equipped with a Command Zone advanced electronics and control system, a TAK-4 independent front suspension, and a back-up camera system.
