2002 Spartan/Keystone Rescue Pumper - Tanker

The Vernon Township Vol. Fire Dept., Meadville, PA took delivery of this unit on August 30, 2002.

The rig has a Spartan Gladiator LFD tandem chassis with a Cummins 500 hp and a 5 speed automatic transmission. The cab is a 20" raised roof with air conditioning and seating for 8 with 5 SCBA seats. The rig has a 2000 gpm Waterous pump with an electronic throttle/ governor and a 2000 poly water tank. Pre-piped deck gun with complete remote controls on each side of apparatus. The stainless body features rescue compartments complete with custom roll out trays, shelving, roll out steps and spare air bottle compartments.

Some additional features include a 15 kw AMPS hyd. generator with six - 750 watt scene lights and a 9000 watt Command Light Tower with remote control. The front bumper has a 24" extension for a trash line and 2 additional wells built in. A complete Lukas Rescue System is built into the rear compartment with a roll out tray and roll up door.

Light weight hard suction and ground ladders are located in rear compartments. An air bottle mainfold system is built in for use of a complete air bag and air chissel system. Emergency lighting is Code 3 with MX light bars on upper zones and double strobe lights on lower zones. Also includes a recessed arrow stick on the rear.
