The Carver Massachusetts Fire Department has just taken delivery of this 2002 GMC Yukon 4 X 4 Command vehicle. It is equipped with communications equipment to communicate with area fire departments. The equipment includes 1 Motorola VHF CDM-1250, 1 Motorola UHF CDM-1250, scanner, and a cellular telephone.

Car 1 is equipped with a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, CO detector, fire extinguisher, and various other firefighting and medical equipment. Plans are currently being developed for a custom rear console, which will allow it to be an effective mobile command platform.

Car 1 is also equipped with Whelen's new Patriot light bar, wigwags, Whelen front and rear hide-away strobes, and a Whelen siren system. For more information please visit us on the web at www.carverfire.org.
