Smeal Fire Apparatus 75' Aerial Ladder

The David City / Rural District 9 Volunteer Fire Department in David City, NE took delivery of this truck in November of 2002. It is a Smeal Fire Apparatus 75' aerial ladder truck. It sits on a Spartan Metro Star 4 door chassis and is powered by a 380 Cummins. It has a 1500 gpm Waterous single stage pump with a 300 gallon water tank, and a Foam Pro 2001 foam system with a 20 gallon foam cell. Also included on this unit is a ergonomic hose load, Harrison hydraulic generator, and a electric switchable water way which will automatically facilitate either a rescue or watertower operation. This unit also has a wireless remote control ladder control system and blue rung illumination.
