The Glen Fire Department in Glen, Mississippi just received a 2003 Pierce International 4400 crew cab top mount pumper truck. The truck was purchased from Pro-Fire, Inc in Olive Branch, MS. The truck has a Waterous 1250 GPM pump and a 1000 gallon tank. This is the first new truck ever purchased by this small yet active department located in northeast Mississippi. The purchase of the truck was made possible through a grant from the USDA Rural Development program.

The department has 23 members and responds to over 200 calls per year serving and area of 49 square miles and a population of 4287.
