unit image

Huron River Joint Fire District is located in Monroeville, Ohio. In October of 2002 we put into service a 2002 Freightliner FL-80 Stainless 2000g Tanker built by CSI. The tanker has three Newton quick dump valves (2-side, 1-rear), the two side valves can be automatically opened/closed from the cab. Tanker 7 is equipped with two 2500g portable ponds, a 500gpm pump, two 4.5" hard suction, a 4" quick fill with the appropriate stortz adapters. The tanker also holds a portable pump, complete selection of adapters and fittings, 50' of 5" and 100' of 3" supply line as well as 100' quick attack line of 1.75" hose.

Tanker 7 is equipped with scene lighting, portable radios, handheld lights, and NFPA compliant emergency lighting package. Tanker 7 has cruise, tilt, air, heated mirrors, dual air ride seats, completely automatic transmission with electronic engine retarder, power windows, high band radio, electronic fill status gauges in the cab and rear of the apparatus.

Tanker 7 is a great addition to the Huron River Joint Fire District Fleet. Tanker 7 is housed at HRJFD Station #1.
