On November 25, a fire swept through a southwest Springfield, Mo. apartment complex.
Fire damage was contained to the building of origin, and limited to about twelve apartments.
Smoke and water damage was sustained throughout the building. Early damage estimates top one million dollars.
Seven engine companies, four truck companies, and one rescue company worked for about four and a half hours to bring the blaze under control.
The fire was determined to be accidental.
