The Henrietta Fire Department responded for a reported house shortly before midnight, Saturday Dec. 22.
While enroute they were informed that a Monroe County Sheriff's Deputy was on-scene confirming a working house fire.
First arriving Henrietta Fire Department units went on location with heavy flames and smoke showing & command declared a working fire in a ranch house.
Occupants were home at the time of the fire but escaped unharmed.
The family lost most of the contents, including holiday gifts, decorations, etc...
The fire was under control in approximately 30 minutes with no injuries.
Henrietta Fire Department responded with 1 Quint, 1 Midi, 3 Engines, 1 Heavy Rescue & 2 Chief's. Henrietta Ambulance BLS/ALS stood-by.
