On Thursday, December 27th firefighters from Prince Georges County Fire Department responded to a report of house fire.
Firefighters arrived within minutes, and found an apparent working basement fire and a task force was struck.
Crews quickly pulled attack lines to perform an aggressive interior attack. 48 firefighters and 20 minutes were needed to bring the fire under control.
One adult and three children in the house at the time of the fire and were able to escape without injury.
One firefighter was transported to MedStar Burn Center with burns and two other firefighters were treated for minor injuries.
