NY Bravest Battle House Fire

Photos/Story By Chris Steves

On Sunday, December 30, 2001, Firefighters from the Glens Falls Fire Department in Upstate New York were called to a report of a structure fire.

Firefighters arrived within minutes to find a working house fire.

High winds and low temperatures hampered firefighting efforts and the fire spread rapidly.

Crews were able to place the fire under control within 30 minutes, however the home suffered severe damage.

The fire was determined to be caused by faulty wiring.
