Madisonville TX, firefighters were called to respond to a house fire in Madisonville on January 15, 2001.

Firefighters arrived and found a house well involved with fire. Crews battled the fast moving blaze, but despite their efforts the house was a total loss.

Firefighters from Madisonville were assisted by firefighters from the Midway Fire Department, located approximately 15 miles away, and Guardian E.M.S.

The fire which started in a rural area is under investigation.

All involved did a good job ensuring that no person was hurt while battling the blaze.
