NJ Bravest Battle House Fire

Photos/Story By Rob Kuehlke

On January 24, 2002, at about 4am, firefighters from the Woodcliff Lake, NJ fire departmet were called out for a report of structure fire.

Woodcliff Lake Fire Departmet responded with two engines, a truck and a rescue along with Tri-Boro ambulance and the Montvale Fire Department Fast Team.

Firefighters arrived within minutes to find a large 2 story home with fire through the roof, and spreading rapidly.

A second alarm was transmitted bringing one engine and one truck from the Park Ridge Fire Department and another rescue from the River Vale Fire Department.

Crews went to work quickly to attack the fast moving fire.

The fire was declared under control within an hour, with no injuries reported to civilians or firefighters.
