Egg Township, NJ Firefighters Extricate One

The Farmington and Cardiff Volunteer Fire Companies responded at 1300 hours to the intersections of Fire Road and Columbus Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash, vehicle fire.

The first arriving Farmington apparatus began suppression and discovered a car pinned under a Mack truck that carried a roll off refuse container.

The truck impinged on the car 4 feet pinning the drivers door to the passenger door with the driver trapped between. It took three hours to extricate the one passenger.
