On October 24, 2002 at approximately 3pm firefighters were alerted to this residential structure fire.
When firefighters arrived the back of the first floor was in flames.
The fire quickly spread to the second floor and attic. Flames were shooting out the second story windows and out the windows of a turret in the third-floor attic.
One person, a member of the department’s volunteer Protectives unit, was hit by flying glass.
He was treated at the hospital and released.
