At 0244 hours, Delaware County Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a structure fire.
The fire was located at 338/340 West Oak Lane cross street of Mac Dade Boulevard.
The building consisted of a twin home with a detached out building.
The first alarm assignment consisted of:
Glenolden: Tower 5,E 5
Folcroft: Tele squirt 1, E1, R1
Sharon Hill: E09-1, E09-2

Crozer Hospital ALS
Upon arrival of 1st alarm assignment at 0248hrs.
OIC Captain Chris Galanaugh found a 3 story unoccupied twin with heavy fire showing from side 1,2,and 3 plus a detached outbuilding heavily involved.
The attack was Defensive utilizing master streams.
Captain Galanaugh requested a partial 2nd alarm which brought:
Norwood T2
Holmes Squirt 43
Canteen 47
The fire building was next to a construction site and was scheduled to be demolished.
The fire was ruled arson by county and state police investigators.
This is the third arson fire to hit unoccupied buildings in the past 5 weeks.
The building was not insured and no loss value was declared.
One firefighter was injured receiving a facial fracture that will require future surgery.
Fire companies from Ridley Park, and Darby Borough covered empty stations.
