Berlin, Vermont Firefighters Stomp Garage Fire

This is the scene Berlin, Vermont firefighters were faced with upon arrival on Wednesday, August 28th, 2002.


The garage served as a maintenance and storage shop for a Backhoe, a farm tractor, two garden tractors, an industrial air compressor, and was heated by a hot air furnace.

Mutual aid companies included:

  • Montpelier,
  • Middlesex,
  • East Montpelier,
  • Williamstown,
  • Northfield, and
  • Barre Town.

This fire was toned out at about 2:30 am.
