MD Bravest Extricate Trapped Passenger

On 22 Feb 02, at 0056 hours, Squad 27 of the Morningside Volunteer Fire Department, Prince George's County, Maryland was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Walters Lane (approximately 3 miles outside the District of Columbia line).

Squad 27 arrived on the scene to find a single vehicle that had struck a light pole. The front passenger, a 27 year old male was trapped under the dash. Squad 27 extricated the passenger by removing the doors and roof and lifting the dash with two rams.
