NY Firefighters Battle House Fire

On February 23 at Approximetely 0100 the Wallkill Fire District of Ulster County New York was Alaerted for a Fire in a Large Private Dwelling.

Units enroute were advised of Numerous Calls to 9-1-1.

Chief Bob Keator arrived to find a Large Single Family Dwelling with Very Heavy Fire Conditions and sounded the 2nd through 4th Alarms (Fire in a No Hydrant Area) bringing a FAST Team, Aerial Ladder and Numerous Tankers to the Scene.

The Fire is Under Investigation by the Ulster County Arson Task Force began in the Garage Area and spread rapidly throughout the Structure, the House was a Total Loss.

Units from Walden, Cronomer Valley, Plattekill, Shawangunk Valley, Modena, Pine Bush and New Paltz assisted at the Scene with Numerous others on Standby.
