NY Firefighters Battle Large Warehouse Blaze

At 0235 Hours on May 25, 2002 the Gardiner Fire District of Ulster County was Alerted for a Working Building Fire at a Furniture manufacturing Warehouse.

Car 28, Gardiner Fire Chief Frank Ogno arrived to Heavy Fire coming from the Rear Area of the Large Warehouse.

Numerous explosions rocked the Building which was soon Fully Involved.

Chief Ogno requested Mutal Aid from Modena, Wallkill, Highland, New Paltz, Clintondale, Shawangunk Valley, Cronomer Valley and Plattekill to the Scene. Gardiner Rescue provided Rehab at the Scene.

The cause of the Fire is Under Investigation by the Ulster County Arson Task Force, the Main Building was a Total Loss but a Storage Building was saved.
