Illinois firefighters responded to a car fire on Monday, June 10, 2002 at 1045hrs at 6200 Canfield, this is a border between Chicago and Park Ridge Ill.

The Park Ridge units arrived first and used an 13/4 preconnect from the front bumper of their engine company to attack the fire.

The nearby exposure to a dwelling was minimized.

City of Chicago firefighters arrived after water was on the fire and returned to quarters after assuring the Park Ridge units had the fire contained.
