On May 27, 2002 at 1959 hours the Hartford Fire Department on Box Alarm 528 was alerted to an MVA with mulitple injuries at Chester & Goodrich Streets.

Engine 10 and TACT 1 in District 1 responded on the call.

Units arriving on the scene encountered a severe head on crash. Rescuers performed an extrication of two passengers.
