Peekskill, New York Bravest Fight House Fire

A structure fire in Peekskill, New York occurred on August 13, 2002 at about 7:00pm.

The structure was an abandoned, large, wood frame building that was used as a YMCA for years.

In operation were Peekskill FD Tower Ladder 45 - Engines 131, 132, 133, 134 and Verplanck's Tower Ladder 46.

Mutual Aid Departments to the scene were Mohegan, Verplanck, Buchanan (cascade truck), Croton F.A.S. Team.

Relocated to the city were Continental Village, Montrose, and Ossining FD's.
