Nevada Firefighters Stomp Carson City Structure Fire

Firefighters recieved a call for a structure fire on Thursday, August 22, 2002, at East Highway Route 50 in Carson City, Nevada.

The fire was a 47 year old abandoned sand and gravel company.

The building was a total loss.

It was worth $7,800, but the property under it is worth $228,000.

Witnesses on they seen said they saw a small flame eat at the east end of the building, and then the building just completely burst into flames.
