     he Eggertsville Hose Company Fire Headquarters was built in 1995, in response to both modernization and consolidation of 2 older fire houses. The station is centrally located in the Eggertsville Fire District which is located in Amherst, New York, adjacent to the City of Buffalo. The station has 4 drive through bays which houses 3 Engines, 1 Heavy Rescue, 1 Ladder, and 2 Light Rescue/EMS. The Eggertsville Hose Company protects over 7000 residential and commercial structures and its residents.

The Eggertsville Hose Company protects over 7000 residential and commercial structures and its residents. Currently the Eggertsville Hose Company is all volunteer, consisting of 71 active members, including 5 Lieutenants, 4 Captains and 3 Chief Officers.
