     The new facility, designed by Strand Associates, Inc., is constructed of brick masonry. The main entry has a tower structure sheathed with metal panels similar to those found on the previous station. The facility has five apparatus bays, four with drive-through capacity. The apparatus bay area has direct access to the decontamination area, laundry, tool crib, dive equipment and SCBA room, locker rooms, and radio room.
    The exterior is brick masonry with six cast stone elements depicting: a Dalmatian dog, firefighter's helmet, ladder and pike pole, fire engine, hydrant, and Memorial Tribute to the Heroes of September 11, 2001. Photos by Deputy Chief Todd Yandre
