Lexington, Kentucky
Lexington Fire Department is a fully career fire/EMS department serving nearly 300,000 citizens spread over a 250 square mile area of central Kentucky with over 500 personnel. Fire Station #11 is located in the 2600 block of Harrodsburg Road in south central Lexington and houses both Engine Co. #11 and Unit 204 (District Officer). The station is one of seven fire stations in Lexington that are basically built around the same two bay, one story design and were built during the 1970's.

Madisonville Fire Department Station #4 Madisonville, Kentucky
This is Madisonville Fire Department (Kentucky) Station #4. It features 2 drive thru engine bays. We have a 1977 American LaFrance Fire Truck and a Kids Smoke House stationed here. We have 3 firefighters at this station at all times. Each one has their own private bedroom and bathroom/shower area. We are one of 4 stations. We employee 60 full time employees and run 3 shifts. The station was opened in 1992.

Gwinnett Fire Station #24 Gwinnett County, Georgia
Gwinnett Fire Station #24 opened Saturday, July 2nd. Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services in Georgia, announced the opening of Fire Station #24, located at 2735 Mall of Georgia Boulevard in Buford. Firefighters began responding from the new location on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at 12pm. The station is a three-bay facility measuring approximately 12,800 square feet and includes a community classroom.

The City of Franklin Division of Fire has 32 career, part-time and volunteer firefighters that operate out of its new fire station. The department serves 8.1 square miles in the northwest corner of Warren County in southwestern Ohio, which is home to approximately 12,000 residents and numerous businesses.

Eggertsville Hose Company- Eggertsville Fire District Amherst, New York
The Eggertsville Hose Company Fire Headquarters was built in 1995, in response to both modernization and consolidation of 2 older fire houses. The station is centrally located in the Eggertsville Fire District which is located in Amherst, New York, adjacent to the City of Buffalo. The station has 4 drive through bays which houses 3 Engines, 1 Heavy Rescue, 1 Ladder, and 2 Light Rescue/EMS. The Eggertsville Hose Company protects over 7000 residential and commercial structures and its residents. Currently the Eggertsville Hose Company is all volunteer, consisting of 71 active members, including 5 Lieutenants, 4 Captains and 3 Chief Officers.

The Chattanooga Fire Department Chattanooga, Tennessee
Chattanooga is located on the beautiful Tennessee River in southeast Tennessee. The Chattanooga Fire Department is an ISO Class 2 department, with 400 full-time firefighter positions. These firefighters provide fire suppression, hazardous materials response, rescue, and emergency medical services to approximately 156,000 citizens in an area of roughly 145 square miles.

Johnston Fire Department Johnston, Rhode Island
The Johnston Fire Department is a full time paid department that serves the town of Johnston Rhode Island (population 30,000). The department runs 4 engines, 1 ladder, and 3 advance life support rescues, which run out of four stations. The station photos sent are of Station 1, which opened in June 2004. It houses Engine 1 and Rescue 1. Engine 1 is manned by 3 Firefighters and Rescue 1 is manned by 2 firefighter/EMT-Cardiac technicians.

Lexington Fire Department, Station #20, Lexington, Kentucky
Lexington Fire Department Station 20 was built in 2001 in response to rapid growth in the southwest part of Lexington. The station is a 3 bay, drive-through setup currently housing Engine Co. #20 (ALS Engine), Ladder Co. #4, and the Battalion Chiefs for the Hazmat Team and the Technical Rescue Team. The station protects a largely residential and commercial area of mostly new construction. Engine 20 responded to 1,132 runs in 2004 and Ladder 4 responded to 951 runs in 2004. Currently Station 20 has 26 full time firefighters assigned to it including 18 firefighters, 5 lieutenants, 1 captain and 2 battalion chiefs.

Houston Fire Department, Houston, Texas
The Houston Fire Department in Houston Texas opened fire station number 83 in March of 2005. It is a new station and will provide fire protection and ems service in the rapidly expanding west side of Houston. The three bay station currently houses three apparatus: an engine, an ambulance and a paramedic squad vehicle.

Hartland Volunteer Fire Company, New York
Hartland Vol. Fire Company began active service to the community in 1971, and is located in Gasport, New York, Niagara County. The fire hall was built in 1970 with an addition made in the early 80's and another in 1991. We are comprised of about 30 active members.

Walworth Fire Department, New York
The Walworth Fire Department is an all volunteer department, which operates out of 1 station, and covers approximately 12 square miles, within the Village, and Town of Walworth, Wayne County, NY. The department is one of 3 fire departments in the Town of Walworth, and protects an estimated population of 3800 residents in the village and town. The Walworth Fire Department is also the Ambulance provider for the Village and Town of Walworth. The Ambulance district protects an estimated population of 10,000 residents, and covers the approximately 36 square miles of the entire town.

Liverpool Fire Department, New York
The Liverpool Fire Department, Inc. is a 100% volunteer organization which contracts with the Town of Salina, County of Onondaga, State of New York to provide services to fire protection district number 4 which includes the Village of Liverpool. Its district protects mostly residential dwellings, several hotels, motels, commercial businesses, light industrial businesses, a rail line with 3 gated crossings, Interstate 90 toll road (east-west), Interstate 81 freeway (north-south), flight pattern for Hancock International Airport, Onondaga Lake from the Syracuse city line to the Seneca River lake outlet.

West Shore Fire District, Station 2, West Haven, Conn.
The West Shore Fire District is one of three Fire Districts serving the City of West Haven, Connecticut. WSFD is a combination department with eight firefighters on duty at all times. There are four shifts and firefighters work a rotating schedule of 24 hours on and 72 hours off. This station houses the Shift Commander, which holds the rank of Captain and five firefighters. Coverage is to a primarily residential area, with some industry, and includes a major railway, I-95, and Long Island Sound. WSFD also provides first responder paramedic service.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department has 54 stations, appx. 700,000+ residents, it is the largest city land wise in the United States, theJacksonville Fire nad Rescue Depertment has 1200+ emplyees actively working, and responded to 121,963 runs in 2004.

Wallington Fire Department, N.Y.
The Wallington Fire Department is an all volunteer department, which operates out of one station, covers approximately 20 square miles, and protects an estimated population of 10,000 residents in the Town of Sodus, Wayne County, New York. The department currently runs with a fleet of five vehicles, consisting of one antique parade engine, one engine, one engine-tanker, one squad-utility vehicle, and the newest addition to the fleet: a 3000 gallon tanker.

East Avon Volunteer F.D., N.Y.
In October 2004, the East Avon Volunteer Fire Department (New York) moved into its new headquaters at 1615 West Henrietta Road in the Town of Avon. The facility was built by the Town of Avon Fire District. A joint committee consisting of members of the Town of Avon Fire District Fire Commissioners, East Avon Line Officers, and Members of the East Avon Fire Department took part in the design of the new facility.

Prosper Fire Department, Texas
After years of planning and anticipation, Prosper, Texas has a new Central Fire Station. Crews began responding from the new 11,000 square foot facility on July 19, 2004. The new station features 4 pull through bays that can accommodate eight fire trucks, sleeping quarters for ten fire fighters, four administrative offices, a dining room, kitchen, day room, and a conference room.
