The Beaver Lake Volunteer Fire Department is now accepting resumes and applications for the position of full-time Fire Chief. The district is an unincorporated area of eastern Benton County, Arkansas just outside of Rogers. The area is home to Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods, JB Hunt, The University of Arkansas, Crystal Bridges Museum and the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Also, Rogers is consistently listed among the CNN Money's Top 100 places to live and is home to Beaver Lake (437 miles shoreline). The fire department is a tax-based volunteer department with a paid full-time chief. The department has an outstanding fleet of vehicles and operates from two stations in its district, with a training facility at one of the stations. Qualified candidates must have substantial knowledge regarding fire and emergency medial services, as well as demonstrated managerial and people skills.
