Fire Chief

The Beulah Fire Protection and Ambulance District, serving Beulah, Colorado and vicinity, seeks applications for the job of FIRE CHIEF.  This is a newly configured position, with the addition of fire protection to the District’s responsibilities.  The job calls for a balance of fire and emergency medical background, a minimum of seven years experience overall, with at least two of those in a supervisory role.  Minimum requirements include Firefighter 1 and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.  Responsibilities include recruiting, training and managing the District’s volunteer responders; responding to calls as needed; managing the office, two stations, supplies and equipment; interacting with the community and other response agencies; developing and managing the budget; and interacting with the District Board of Directors.  We are seeking a mature, outgoing and energetic individual who wants to be an essential part of the community.  Salary range $45-50K.  The application and job description are available online at www.beulahambulancedistrict.org .  Applications must be received no later than 5:00 pm MST 11/19/12.
