The City of North Kansas City, is establishing eligibility lists for both Firefighter/EMT and Firefighter/Paramedic. Currently, the City has several vacancies for Firefighter/Paramedic, but will consider well qualified Firefighter/EMT’s.

Compensation & Benefits: The pay range for Firefighter/Paramedic is $42,275 - $63,400 annually ($16.21 - $24.31 hourly), DOQ. The pay range for Firefighter/EMT is $36,761 - $55,142 annually ($14.10 - $21.15 hourly). The City offers a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance, paid leave, both a defined benefit plan (Pension) and a defined contribution plan (457) and a tuition reimbursement program.
24-hour personnel work the Berkeley schedule and have one Kelly day in each 28 day work period.
