    Three high school students were injured Monday afternoon when their Mustang collided with a fire truck responding to a call.The Soldier Township fire truck was headed to a fire alarm call when it collided with the car on Northwest Topeka Boulevard, according to WIBW.com.The front seat passenger in the car was taken to a Topeka hospital with serious injuries, the station reported.All the students had to be removed from the vehicle by firefighters.

    RICHMOND, Kan. -- A man and three children died early Monday in a house fire in the 200 block of West Central Street, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office. The fire was reported at 1:40 a.m. The children's mother and another child were taken to hospitals. Their conditions have not been released. Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire.     OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- A man was in critical condition after a vehicle was involved in a wreck with an Overland Park fire truck on the eastbound Interstate 435 exit ramp to Antioch Road Friday morning. The man, in his 50s, was unconscious with a head injury, fire officials said. The person in the original wreck that the fire truck was responding to suffered minor injuries. The exit ramp from I-435 east to Antioch was shut down.

    OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- An Overland Park fire engine was involved in a crash Tuesday morning. Fire officials said no one was seriously injured in the wreck, which happened just before 11 a.m. when Overland Park Engine 45 was northbound on Metcalf Avenue at 159th Street and was struck in the side by a westbound minivan.
