    A truck driver was found guilty Friday in the 2008 death of a West End firefighters, according to The Missoulian. Sergey Buslayev was at the wheel of a FedEx tractor trailer that jackknifed on a icy highway before slamming into the pickup truck of Firefighter Jerry Parrick on Dec. 17. Parrick was warning traffic of an earlier wreck when the crash occurred. His pickup was parked properly had flashing light activated on the roof and the rear of the vehicle, according to the newspaper.

    On June 11, 2009, a three-alarm fire destroyed a five-story warehouse in Butte, MT. The 45-by-100-foot structure was built in 1902 of Type IV heavy timber construction by Armour and Co. and originally was used as a meat warehouse, although it had many uses over its 107-year history, most recently to store tires.
